Review: Disney Princess at Macy's

My girls love all things Disney princess and Frozen and I think this may be their favorite review that I've ever done.  Macy's and Disney Consumer Products have launched a collection of adorable clothes for little girls featuring their favorite characters.  These items are available in special Disney Princess shops at Macy's locations across the country.

Tink and Minnie wanted to do a fashion show so you could see their awesome new clothes.

This set is the Frozen "You Melt My Heart" leggings set.  It retails for $36.00 and is really cute.  The girls are in sizes 6x and 4.  This one was a big hit...Elsa, tutus, and flowers.   As a mom, I like that these clothes seem to be made well and will hold up.  Minnie should be able to wear the 6x set in a couple of years and it will still look nice. She gets really good hand-me-downs.

Next up is the "Every Girl is a Princess" tee for $14.00.  Aunts and uncles of America, this one would make a fabulous, easy gift for nieces.  I always find it hard to shop for my niece, but every little girl will love this shirt.   From the mom point of view, this is another shirt I really like for the kids but it is a little snug on Tink since she is at the upper end of the 6x range and sometimes wears a 7.

Cinderella outranks all other princesses in our home and Minnie must now thinks she is a fashion model.  I don't know where she came up with that face but it was too funny not to include.

Now this is the outfit they love the most.  The Cinderella tutu set is $36.00 and your girls will get your money's worth.  I really like the details on this set.  The top has a bit of tulle on Cinderella's headband and on the edge of the sleeves.  Kids seem to want to grow up so fast and I love any clothes that scream 'little girl.'  The background of the shirt is covered in a pink rose pattern to tie-in the pink tutu.  A Cinderella shirt and a pink tutu...big hit.  The tulle used on all of these clothes is nice and soft and we haven't run into any itchy seams (or the associated complaints.)

Many thanks to Disney Consumer Products to providing these clothes for our review.  My girls love them.  These are my honest thoughts and no other compensation was offered or received.

I get nothing from the following link but it looks like this line is on sale this weekend! Go check it out!  There are additional items and princesses available online.   Disney Princess at Macy's

Photo Flashback! My First Star Wars Weekends Adventure

I just returned from a long weekend trip to Walt Disney World with my brother, Chris (aka Ridge.)  This was my first time experiencing Star Wars Weekends and it was great fun.  I'm thankful that my brother and I are good friends and enjoy traveling together.  Our previous brother/sister only trips were in 2003 for the Passholder preview of Mission Space and in 2007, just because.  I'll write a trip report soon but for now, here are a few shots to go with today's theme over at Focused on the Magic---ADVENTURE.
