Photo Flashback! Showtime!

Walt Disney World has wonderful attractions and rides but you can't beat the live shows throughout the parks.

Festival of the Lion King, Walt Disney World, Growing Up Disney
My absolute favorite live show is Festival of the Lion King.  This shot is from October 2008.

Voices of Liberty, Epcot entertainment, Growing Up Disney
Voices of Liberty is a must-see show.  I enjoyed this performance in September 2008.  I know I've seen at least two of these Cast Members on recent visits.

Spirit of Aloha, Polynesian Resort, Growing Up Disney
We've been to the luau many times over the years and always had fun.  This is the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show from October 2007.

Off Kilter, Celtic rock, Epcot, Growing Up Disney
I truly love (and miss) Off Kilter.  They started playing at Epcot in 1997, the same year I did College Program.  We always chose our Epcot days based on whether or not they were playing.  This image is from February 2007.

Mulch Sweat and Shears, DIsney's Hollywood Studios, Growing Up Disney
Mulch, Sweat and Shears is so much fun.  My girls love them now but this was from October 2006.  They pulled my husband up to play the drum (aka a bucket) and I cherish that memory.

  1. I have been dying to see the luau!!! I hear it is incredibly authentic. Stitch is my very favorite Disney character.

I also love the Festival of the Lion King! The music, the acrobatics, the dancing, the costumes... it is just breathtaking! I especially love how they have the 360-degree audience with the stage in the middle. It really makes the show seem like an intimate party gathering. SO MUCH FUN!!!

  3. I've never seen the Luau show, but it's on our list for when Eli gets a little older. Festival of the Lion King is amazing!
