Photo Flashback -- Using Film

Here take two pictures today, they are small file sizes... here are a couple of shots from May 2011 using film and not being all digital. I have inherited DisneyDad's 1970's Minolta and enjoy using it. Film and manual setting are a challenge and I love it. These are two unedited pictures (other than adding the watermarks)

  2. That camera cost an arm and a leg back in the '70s when I bought it. Probably about a month's salary. I was in college and Mom was working.

  3. Beautiful shots! I love taking pics with my film cameras. I still use a 35mm camera (Nikon FE from the 70's) and a digital in WDW sometimes.
There's something special about the quality of the 35mm pictures that digital misses.
Thanks for sharing and for linking up to the hop!

  5. Dana we need a photo meet up!

I really enjoy that camera, it's interesting feeling in the day of technology to not know what you have till it's developed. I still look at the back of the camera after every picture like something is going to change.

  6. Great shots - film definitely has a different quality than digital. It wasn't that long ago that we only had film cameras and I expect that my kids don't even know what one is.

  8. Are there still places that develop film? Or do you have to do it yourself? Great pictures by the way.
