Here take two pictures today, they are small file sizes... here are a couple of shots from May 2011 using film and not being all digital. I have inherited DisneyDad's 1970's Minolta and enjoy using it. Film and manual setting are a challenge and I love it. These are two unedited pictures (other than adding the watermarks)

I want to try that camera! :D
ReplyDeleteThat camera cost an arm and a leg back in the '70s when I bought it. Probably about a month's salary. I was in college and Mom was working.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! I love taking pics with my film cameras. I still use a 35mm camera (Nikon FE from the 70's) and a digital in WDW sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThere's something special about the quality of the 35mm pictures that digital misses.
Thanks for sharing and for linking up to the hop!
Beautiful Pics, Amy I love the way they look
ReplyDeleteDana we need a photo meet up!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy that camera, it's interesting feeling in the day of technology to not know what you have till it's developed. I still look at the back of the camera after every picture like something is going to change.
Great shots - film definitely has a different quality than digital. It wasn't that long ago that we only had film cameras and I expect that my kids don't even know what one is.
ReplyDelete1970,eh? Kudos to your family for keeping the Minolta alive and well!! Beautiful pictures-
ReplyDeleteAre there still places that develop film? Or do you have to do it yourself? Great pictures by the way.
