Deb over at Focused on the Magic suggested this week's theme: Magical Moments. These shots are full of magic to me. In May, we took a trip to Walt Disney World with my parents on about a week's notice. We had a nice time but it was hot as blazes and between trying to keep everyone cool, fed, napped, clean, etc., Little Miss Minnie just didn't get to do a whole lot. On our last full day, we headed to Animal Kingdom. Finally an opportunity arose to take Minnie to meet characters. Pluto and Goofy were in Dinoland with very little line and most importantly, excellent shade. This was Minnie's first character encounter on her first Disney vacation and she loved Pluto. He was so sweet and played peekaboo with her. She giggled and giggled.
Next we decided to hustle over to the next Festival of the Lion King show. Both girls rode in the stroller to keep them close and so that we could make tracks. Tink fell asleep before we arrived in Camp Minnie Mickey. I took this opportunity to take Minnie to meet a few new friends without having to share with big sis. First was Donald and last was Miss Bunny, but the highlight was our time with the main squeeze of the big cheese. My Minnie was so excited to meet her namesake. Now, of course, I know she has no idea about the connection but Minnie dolls and clothes are very popular at our house. And Minnie is just so darn cute (both of them.)
And after all this excitement, Baby Minnie got to share a Mickey ice cream bar with Granny. That's quite an afternoon of fun for an 11 month old.
